Construct cross sea bridge

Background & Challenge

The Xiamen–Jinmen Bridge (Xiamen Section) is a key infrastructure project in Fujian Province, with a total length of19.6 km. The construction site involves high-power equipment such as tower cranes, rotary drilling rigs, pumps, compressors, and concrete batching plants, along with power demand for offices and living areas.
Due to heavy, fluctuating loads and continuous operation requirements, traditional diesel-based power supply faced challenges including high fuel consumption, instability under peak loads, and environmental pressure.

  • Load condition:concrete mixer 560KW, tower crane 1156KW, water pump 450KW, mud pump 132KW, ground pump 90KW, air compressor 37KW,hydraulic climbing formwork 44KW, welding395KW,concrete vibrator 44KW,living electricity consumption345KW, totally load 3253KW.

Solution

 6 × PowerCat-YD250P + Sync 6 × generator 400kVA

This hybrid solution ensures stable and reliable power supply for complex construction operations, while reducing fuel consumption, emissions, and operational costs—supporting a more efficient and sustainable bridge construction process.
